At the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Raissov T.K.
On October 11, 2024, the first meeting of the scientific student society of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov “Molecular Genetics Researchers” took place. The chairman of the students scientific society is a lecturer of the department, PhD Rakhimgalieva P.S., the head of the scientific society, a 2nd year student of the EP “Medicine” Cherubaeva Aniya. The meeting of the scientific society was attended by students of 1-2 courses of all specialties, as well as teachers of the department.
The agenda:
- Welcome speech by the head of the scientific society.
- Discussion of the goals and objectives of the circle for the upcoming academic year.
- Questions and suggestions from the participants.
- Reports with students’ proposals on scientific projects.
At the meeting of the circle, the participants received basic information for the further development of research on relevant and significant scientific topics in the field of genetics.
The head teacher of the department, G.R. Ibraeva, explained the work of the scientific student society “Molecular Genetics Researchers”, wished fruitful scientific activity to the members of the society and students taking their first steps in science, and also gave basic recommendations.
During the first meeting, students were shown and described all the stages of writing a scientific article and defending a scientific project at the conference.
