On October 15, 2024, as part of the implementation of the project “Implementation of a set of measures for military-patriotic education and training of young people for military service”, the Public Foundation “Antares A”, commissioned by the State Institution “Department of Internal Policy of the Semey city of the Abai region”, in order to popularize military service, an event was held among 2nd year students of all educational programs. The motivational speech was delivered by the Deputy head of the Military Department of Alikhan Bokeikhan University, major in reserve, veteran of the Afghan War Manasov Aidar Tortaevich, who was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the akim of  Semey for many years of conscientious work and a great contribution to the military-patriotic education of the younger generation. Aidar Tortaevich told the biography of our national hero, participant of the Great Patriotic War Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev, told about his heroic deeds, thereby awakening the military-patriotic spirit of future cadets. The students listened to the Veteran with great interest and realized the importance of military service in our country.
