On October 21, 2024, at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, a curatorial hour was held with the curator Zhazykbaeva L.K. and students of group 3120 of the specialty “General Medicine”, dedicated to the message of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan dated September 2, 2024 “Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism”. One of the specific areas of the upcoming work to achieve which is the implementation of comprehensive measures to strengthen the health of the nation and reboot the system of social support for citizens. During the curatorial hour, students were acquainted with the essence of the strategic document, especially the students were interested in the topics of social health insurance and the development system of domestic healthcare. Also, topical issues were raised: the shortage of qualified medical personnel, the development of mass sports and support for vulnerable categories of citizens mentioned in the document. Students actively participated in the discussion of the concept of “Listening Kazakhstan”, paying more attention to innovations in the field of medicine and health care and expressed their opinions on this message.
