As part of career guidance work, on October 17th, 2024, employees of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology visited Secondary comprehensive School No. 36 in Semey of the Abay Regional Education Department and Ybyrai Altynsarin named MSI “Gymnasium No. 37”.

The future applicants were met by the assistant of the department, PhD Selgazina M.B. and first-year residents of the EP by «Gastroenterology» Sagynaeva S.Zh., Pshenbaeva Zh.O.; PhD Botabayeva A.S. and residents of the EP by «Nephrology» Sakenova D.M., Aitmukasheva Zh.S. The schoolchildren were shown an image video of the Semey Medical University and were given booklets with information about the educational programs implemented at the Semey Medical University, the conditions for admission and study at the university. The students asked several questions, which were answered. The residents shared their experience of studying at the Semey Medical University and talked about the social life of the students.

As a result of the conversation, the students became interested in studying at NСJSC “SMU”, students of the chemistry and biology classes expressed a desire to enter our university.
