Within the framework of the II International Med Congress «Man and Health. Multidisciplinary approach in medicine», organized by the «Semey Medical University» NCJSC, on October 17, 2024, a breakout session was held: «Modern therapy: synthesis of traditional methods and the new technologies». The event was held on the basis of the University Hospital of the «Semey Medical University» NCJSC (Lecture hall, 3rd floor).

Moderators:

M.V. Goremykina, Ph.D., Acting Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases and Rheumatology of the, NCJSC «SMU»  and Zhumanbayeva Zh.M., associate professor, PhD, Head of the Department of Nursing, NCJSC  «SMU».

The work of the section was carried out in a hybrid format.

13 reports were heard, two of them in online format, reflecting modern achievements in various fields of internal medicine: rheumatology, cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, etc.

The meeting was attended by speakers from the Russian Federation:

– Klester E.B. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology of «Altai State Medical University» FSBEE of Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

– Gerasimenko O.N. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Faculty Therapy named after Professor G.D. Zalessky, Novosibirsk State Medical University.

Most of the reports were presented by domestic speakers who presented the results of their own scientific research.

All the reports were relevant and aroused great interest and discussion among those present.
