October 24, 2024 at the Department of Public Health held a curatorial hour dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by foreign students of 2510 group.

The curatorial hour was organized to acquaint students with the history, culture and meaning of this important state holiday. The curator of the group Iskakova N.S. told about the path that Kazakhstan has traveled since gaining independence, about significant reforms and achievements of the country in economic, political and cultural spheres. Students learned about the centuries-old traditions of the Kazakh people and the peculiarities of celebrating the Republic Day.

Special attention at the event was paid to the integration of foreign students into Kazakh society, the importance of intercultural dialog and respect for national values.

At the end of the curatorial hour participants actively discussed what they had heard, shared their impressions of life in Kazakhstan and asked questions. Many students noted that such events help to better understand the country where they study and contribute to the formation of close ties between students from different countries.
