In order to foster a sense of patriotism, love for homeland, pride in the historical past, present and bright future of the peoples of Kazakhstan, the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery annually holds events dedicated to the Republic Day. One of these activities is volunteering – helping socially exposed members of our society. Sometimes even a word can be supported, not to mention kind deeds, financial support! On October 23, on the eve of the main and only national holiday of the country, mentor Suleimeneva D.M. with a curatorial 601 group of interns visited a family (all family members with disabilities) who found themselves in a difficult life situation. The interns and their mentor congratulations on the Republic day, paid attention, talked, learned about the problems, helped the family with the most necessary things, brought food, promised to visit them again, perhaps on New Year’s Eve.

The parents and the child were very satisfied, thanked the young future dentists, and rejoiced at the help provided. We hope that our actions will serve as an example for others, because doing good is not only easy, but also very pleasant.
