Vaccination plays a key role in maintaining public health, preventing the spread of infectious diseases and reducing morbidity and mortality. However, there are a number of challenges that require attention on the way to achieving high vaccination coverage rates.

One of the main problems is the lack of information about vaccination. Many people are not aware of the importance of vaccinations, their safety and effectiveness. The spread of myths and false information, especially on the Internet, also contributes to the formation of a negative attitude towards vaccination.

So, on 10/24/2024, a master class was held on topical issues of vaccination of children and possible ways to solve them. This event brought together interns of the GP (general practitioners) of the 6th and 7th years of study of the Department of GP in Semey, residents, pediatricians. to discuss the importance of vaccination and ways to overcome emerging barriers.

The master class was organized and conducted under the guidance of the head of the Semey OVP Department of the NCJSC “SMU”, MD, Professor A.A. Dyusupova and assistant of the Semey General practitioner Department, pediatrician of the highest category, master trainer of DFID (Department of International Development) for the training of general practitioners, T.I. Terekhova.
