On October 22, 2024, in the sports hall of the Semey Medical University, the faculty of the military department organized a military-sports Spartakiad dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan among 3rd-4th year students studying at the department and 2nd year students wishing to study at the military department.

The purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation.

The Spartakiad began solemnly with the performance by the participants and guests of the event of the Anthem and the raising of the Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as a congratulatory speech by the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education and Organizational Issues Berikula Duman and the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the University Bukatov Askar Kenzhebekovich, who was involved in organizing this event.

The Spartakiad was held in several types of military-sports competitions. According to the results of the competition, the 4th year team took 1st place, the 2nd year team took 2nd place, and the 3rd year team took 3rd place. The winners were awarded cups and certificates.
