A meeting of the student scientific circle on the topic “Neonatal jaundice”

On October 02, 2024, a meeting of the student scientific circle on the topic “Neonatal jaundice” for residents of neonatologists, pediatricians, GPS and interns was held at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M.Tusupova.

This event was held in order to prevent complications of neonatal jaundice, the key points in CMV infections, genetic diseases occurring with neonatal jaundice were discussed. We analyzed modern data and treatment methods in world practice and provided information on effective approaches to diagnosis and treatment. The clinical specifics and causes of jaundice in children were noted, and a clinical case was discussed. A handout in the form of a presentation was used. The participants expressed their opinions about this problem, and also discussed preventive measures. This topic aroused great interest among the participants, it should be noted that Jaundice is a fairly common phenomenon in childhood, and knowledge of this issue will help pediatricians prescribe the right additional examinations and bring them closer to adequate treatment.
