World Psoriasis Day!

World Psoriasis Day!

Since 2004, thanks to the initiative of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), October 29 has been celebrated worldwide as World Psoriasis Day. According to statistics, 3% of the global population suffers from this condition. The date is observed by dermatologists, their patients, and all those involved in the treatment and prevention of this chronic disease. The main goal of the day is to inform the global population about the causes and life with this condition.

In connection with this, residents from the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology, and Immunology, along with dermatologist Dr. D.K. Duseneva, held an educational lecture as part of the Psoriasis School to help each participant better understand their condition and learn proper skin care. The lecture covered the causes and trigger factors of psoriasis, modern treatment methods, and aspects of psychological support that help improve quality of life. The Psoriasis School provided an excellent opportunity to ask specialists questions, receive advice, and share experiences with others facing psoriasis. Knowledge is power, and we believe every patient can find effective ways to manage their symptoms!
