On 05.11.2024, as part of the Silver University project, Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A. held an event at the Center for Public Accord – Regional House of Friendship on the topic: The concert program. Psychological and psychotherapeutic trainings “Positive attitude”.  Participants: Dosbaeva A.M. – Department of Nursing, “Kogamdyk Kelisim” region Abai, representatives of the “Public Association Semipalatinsk Russian Social and Cultural Center,” Semey branch of the public association Republican Slavic Movement “LAD,” public association “AHAU Semey” Center for support of Kazakh national values ​ ​ of the Abai region, public association Family Uzbek social and cultural center “Buyuk kelazhak” of the city of Semey, Abai region, public association Chechen-Ingush cultural center “Vainakh,” a branch of the Abai region public association international society “Kazakh tili,” Family city public association “Qazaq tili,” public association Center for Cossack culture “Irtyshskaya Volnitsa. “The students of the curatorial group 3513, as well as the students of the 5213 group, surrounded the older people with attention and care. Taking care of the elderly is our moral obligation. Older people have contributed to the life and development of society, and therefore we must show them care and respect.  The students of the “SMU” organized a concert program. The students sang soulful songs, danced with the elderly, held a motor warm-up, a music quiz, balance training, flexibility exercises, and functional training.  The concert was filled with warm songs, dances and pleasant memories.

The students filled life, gave joy to the elderly. They have contributed to social activities, but also gained new knowledge and skills, the ability to work in a team that can be useful to them in life. The event brought not only joy and fun to the elderly, but also allowed them to create an atmosphere of goodwill and care that they so much need. Volunteering is an opportunity to do good and help those who need it most. We can perform some miracles! The purpose of this festive event is to give the veterans of the university a positive, festive mood.
The main goal of the Silver University project is to improve the quality of life of elderly citizens, improve relations between young people, increase social activity, and strengthen physical and mental health.
