On November 15, 2024, employees of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies visited the museum of the Manshuk Mametova University.

The guide introduced the teachers to the history and activities of the medical university from its foundation to the present day. The museum houses an exposition that presents the activities of departments and courses, faculties, libraries, student life, amateur clubs, sports achievements, as well as state awards of the university. The museum also holds copyright certificates for inventions and exhibits related to these inventions. The teachers saw a gallery of portraits of rectors, worthy graduates, scientists, professors and doctors of sciences of the university.

Teachers also visited the exhibition hall” Manshuk Mametova – hero of the Soviet Union”. According to the guide, this exhibition consists of five sections: “Manshuk’s childhood”, “manshuk’s youth”, “manshuk’s feat”, “soldiers”. In this room, students saw stored front-line letters, photographs, books, magazines, newspapers, the soil of the hero’s grave, the helmet of a Soviet soldier and the gun sleeve in which he died.

The teachers received a lot of interesting and informative information about the history of our university, as well as about the hero of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova-her biography and heroic deeds.
