A multidisciplinary medical team visited the Beskaragai district of the Abai region. The team included the following specialists:

D.A. Mansurova – cardiologist, head of the Department of Therapy, PhD, SMU, NCJSC; S.A. Asanova – pulmonologist, assistant of the Department of Therapy, SMU, NCJSC ; T.E. Shakhanov – gastroenterologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases and Rheumatology, SMU, NCJSC ; M.A. Zhansaliyev – trauma surgeon, head of the Department of Traumatology and Pediatric Surgery, SMU, NCJSC ; M.K. Imanbayev – angiologist, head of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery named after B.S. Bulanov, SMU, NCJSC; T.K. Serikova – resident of the Rheumatology Department, SMU, NCJSC; D.S. Seitkaza – resident of the Department of Internal Diseases, SMU, NCJSC .

The purpose of the visit was to provide highly specialized medical care to the region’s residents and to conduct preventive measures. The team paid special attention to individuals with chronic diseases and limited access to medical services.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the doctors, many patients received qualified medical assistance and recommendations for further treatment and prevention.

The work of the multidisciplinary team continues to play a vital role in improving the quality of medical services for the population.

Future visits are planned for the Abai district and the city of Kurchatov.
