As part of the memorandum of cooperation between NJSC “MUS” and the State Institution “UO of the Abay Region”, on November 11-14, 2024, on-site career guidance work was carried out in schools in the Zharminsky district of the Abay Region. Head of the Admissions Committee and MF Toleubaeva K.S. and methodologist of the department Azharova A.K. visited a number of schools located in rural areas of the Zharma region. During the career guidance work, an image video and presentation of the Semey Medical University NJSC was demonstrated with complete information about the training of specialists in 7 educational programs, admission to undergraduate studies, passing scores, passing a special exam in the form of psychometric testing. The students showed a keen interest in the information provided, actively participated in the conversation, asked questions of interest to them regarding the acceptance of documents, the terms of study, the provision of grants, the possibility of transferring from paid education to a grant, scholarships, the provision of a hostel, the amount of payment, etc. to which they received comprehensive answers. Brochures were given to students. Graduates were introduced to the advantages of the non-profit joint-stock company Semey Medical University.
