On November 21, 2024, according to the plan of the Silver University, a teacher of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies, M.K. Kakimzhanova, with a curatorial group of 3101 visited a Medical and social institution for the elderly and general disabled in Semey and held a seminar on the importance of vitamin D3 for human health. The main purpose of this event was to inform older people about the role of vitamin D3 and ways to prevent its deficiency. During the seminar, the elderly were told about the effect of vitamin D3 on the bone-immune system, diseases that occur when it is deficient, as well as how the vitamin can enter the body through dietary supplements and through food. At the end, we distributed specially prepared brochures with useful tips and wishes to our elderly people. This meeting was very touching and useful for everyone. Older people asked their questions and were interested in ways to improve their health. Our seminar allowed us not only to teach, but also to establish warm relations with the older generation, who asked for a concert program next time.
