November 14-15, 2024, in Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the XI Republican Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Priority areas of rehabilitation and balneology”, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MTSZN), the Association of Rehabilitologists and Balneologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Scientific Center for the Development of the sphere of Social Protection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M.Tusupova, pediatrician of the highest category, neonatologist, rehabilitologist, pediatric neuropathologist Aliya Rakhmetullinovna Alimbayeva, MD, rehabilitologist, PHD student of 1 year of study Alibek Yernar.
The Congress, which was held in a hybrid format, was attended by more than 250 specialists from different regions of Kazakhstan, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, and Italy. At the opening of the Conference, Svetlana Zhakupova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. In the reports of our researchers, much attention was paid to the use of non-drug technologies in medical organizations, including those related to sanatorium treatment in complex rehabilitation. The high role of balneology as a health-saving system for citizens was noted, confirmed by numerous scientific studies. The acquired knowledge about modern approaches and possibilities of rehabilitation assistance from foreign countries and metropolitan colleagues will be useful in the development of a multidisciplinary approach in the future for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of various neurological diseases in our work. I would also like to note that our specialists are constantly gaining new knowledge in the field of medical rehabilitation. So, on November 13, Alibek Yernar received training on the selection of innovative technical rehabilitation tools from Leckey and Ottobock.
