On November 19, 2024, a meeting was held at the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in Ust-Kamenogorsk with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova, where the head of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M.Tusupova, pediatrician of the highest category, neonatologist, rehabilitologist, children’s Neuropathologist Aliya Rakhmetullinovna Alimbayeva, PhD, and rehabilitation physician, pediatric cardiologist Dairbekov Ernar Yertuganuly. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova got acquainted with the activities of a number of educational facilities in the region during a working trip to the East Kazakhstan region. One of these was the center for continuing and inclusive education “Dana bala” on the basis of the Higher School of Economics named after S. Amanzholov, where a lot of work is being done today to introduce active inclusion into the practice of educational institutions in the region. Specialists provide consulting and information support to colleagues, and, in addition, realize the possibilities of dual education — university students work at the center, who after graduation have the skills to work with special children. The issues of double-degree education in the specialty of occupational therapy and ergopedagogy were also discussed during the work. “If you start working with a child from an early age, it will help him successfully adapt and integrate into society without requiring changes in the environment. Currently, we are releasing fully socialized children, and the earlier this process begins, the more effective the results will be,” said Svetlana Stelmakh, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy at the S. Amanzholov Higher School of Economics. “Our main goal is to develop citizens as individuals, not limited only to education. To do this, it is necessary to create a consistent and interconnected education system covering all levels — from kindergarten to higher education. It is important that programs and methods that meet the highest standards are used in each educational field, and teachers constantly improve their skills. We must remember that a citizen with a high—quality education is a guarantee of our future,” Tamara Duisenova summed up
