Fair of student scientific circles: An inspiring event for future researchers

On November 26, 2024, the fair of student scientific circles (SSC) was held in the gym of the Main Building of the SMU, NCJSC, which became an important event for students seeking to develop in the field of science and research. The event gathered numerous participants and became a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and opportunities for scientific work. Each SSC was allocated a separate exhibition area where students could present the activities of their clubs and research projects. Within the framework of the fair, participants had the opportunity to present their achievements, share the results of their research work, as well as talk about the directions and plans of their research activities.

This allowed visitors not only to get acquainted with interesting projects, but also to learn about the prospects for their further scientific path. One of the key goals of the fair was to attract students to participate in scientific research. For many of them, this was a chance to receive an invitation to participate in various projects, master new research techniques and expand the horizons of their professional development. The SSC Fair also helped students choose the most appropriate scientific circle for further growth and personal interests. The SSC Fair, held on November 26, 2024 at the SMU, NCJSC, was a vivid example of how important it is to support and develop scientific initiatives at the university. This event was an important milestone on the way to creating a new generation of researchers who are ready to make significant discoveries and move forward in their scientific activities.

Students received not only new knowledge and ideas, but also real opportunities for growth in the field of science. Inspired by this event, the fair participants can confidently look to the future, exploring the limitless horizons of scientific possibilities. Interactive tasks prepared by the student organizers gave a special atmosphere to the event. Participants were asked to answer short questions and complete tasks on medical topics. Those who coped with the tasks received small but pleasant prizes — stickers with medical symbols and sweets. This idea added lightness and friendliness to the fair, attracting even more participants to actively participate.

On behalf of the staff of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children Diseases of the SMU, NCJSC, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the head of the SSC, a student of the 4405 group, specialty “Pediatrics” Kurmanbekova Azaria, for her active participation in the Fair of student scientific circles. Thanks to her initiative, organizational skills and invaluable contribution to the preparation of the event, it was held at a high level. We would like to express special gratitude to her assistants — Duisembai Zhanna, a student of the 4405 group specializing in Pediatrics, and Adema Akhylbaeva, a student of the 3432 group specializing in Pediatrics. Their help and support during the preparation of the event was invaluable. It is very pleasant to see students so actively involved in the affairs of the university, and we are sure that participation in such an important event has become a valuable and useful experience for them. This indicates a high level of responsibility and interest of our students in the development of scientific and social life at the university. We would like to once again thank everyone who participated in the organization and holding of the SSC fair. We hope that such events will become a good tradition and will contribute to the further development of the scientific potential and interaction of students at our university.
