On December 4, 2024, a roundtable discussion was organized for students from groups 5108, 5230, 5234, 5133, 5229, and 3338 specializing in “General Medicine” and group 3431 specializing in “Pediatrics” under the guidance of assistants from the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology: Arinkyzy Zh., Kirillova E.V., Akhmetkaliyeva Sh.B., Filippova N.A., and Kulabukhova N.S.

The objectives of the roundtable were:• Highlighting the issues associated with smoking, alcoholism, and drug addiction.• Drawing attention to the consequences of harmful habits.• Promoting a healthy lifestyle as the foundation of a successful future.• Cultivating a sense of responsibility for health among young people.
During the event, students discussed the following topics:• The harmful effects of smoking, alcohol, and drugs on the body.• The social consequences of harmful habits.• The role of family and society in combating addictions.• A healthy lifestyle as an alternative to harmful habits.
Activities organized for the roundtable participants included:• An interactive quiz on healthy living, allowing students to test their knowledge about health.• A roundtable discussion where everyone could propose their ideas for promoting a healthy lifestyle in educational institutions.
