World AIDS Day (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is traditionally celebrated on December 1. This is a very important and serious date for everyone who is actively fighting the deadly syndrome. Many government, public and medical organizations around the world hold educational and diagnostic events on this day. Such work is aimed at ensuring that our future generation is informed and the desire to live is supported by a healthy lifestyle of this life, which we have only one.
In order to promote and prevent AIDS, on December 2, 2024, at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O., under the guidance of the curator of the department Sydykova K.T. and students of group 214 of the specialty “Dentistry”, a curator’s hour was held on the topic: “Youth without HIV!” The purpose of this event is to educate and give the younger generation maximum information about the problem of infectious diseases, the ways of their transmission and, most importantly, about measures to prevent them. The students prepared a presentation, showed a video and talked about a special badge – a red ribbon, without which no event dedicated to the fight against AIDS is complete.
World AIDS Day is a date that annually calls on the entire world community not only to remember this incurable disease, but also to be tolerant of those who are already carriers of this disease. Each of those living on the planet should understand that prevention is very important in the fight for health.
