On November 14, 2024, as part of World Diabetes Day, assistants of the Department of Therapy Sarsebayeva G.S., Ryskenova A.E., Arina T.D. and 1st year endocrinologist residents talked with patients of the endocrinology department about the history of this day, the importance of symptoms and early diagnosis of diabetes, risk factors and measures to prevent diabetes. Diabetes is a chronic disease, the complications of which can lead to other irreversible consequences. Given the increasing number of people with diabetes, prevention is desirable for everyone. What was impossible 10 years ago is now available to everyone: personal devices for controlling sugar, high-quality insulin. Remember, diabetes is not a death sentence, if you constantly monitor your blood sugar levels and lead a healthy and active lifestyle, you can live a long and happy life!
