06.12.2024 Another meeting of the Clinical Committee was held, dedicated to the organization of the activities of the Independent Expert Commission within the framework of professional liability insurance for medical workers.

Attended: chief physicians of polyclinics and hospitals of the region of Abai and Famagusta. Experts of medical institutions in Famagusta. The President of the Republic of Georgia, Mr. Vladimir Lavrov. The Abai region district hospitals were connected through ZOOM.
The topic of the clinical council: “Organization of the activities of the expert commission within the framework of insurance of professional responsibility of medical professionals”. The report focused on key aspects of the work of expert committees in the field of health insurance, as well as on the importance of assessing the process of organizing the professional level of a medical professional. Special attention was paid to issues of legal regulation, methodology of work of commissions, as well as the specifics of interaction with economic and insurance processes.
The rapporteur focused on the increasing innovation of professional liability insurance in modern conditions, and also proposed approaches to improve the evaluation indicators and quality control of medical professionals.
The event discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of insurance in the medical field, as well as the role of expert commissions on improving safety and quality of medical care.
All participants actively participated in the discussion both in person and online, there were a lot of questions on working with insurance pool, forming expert opinion, defining rights and responsibilities not only for medical staff but also for patients. All questions were answered exhaustively.
