On December 7, 2024, students of Semey Medical University from the specialty “General Medicine” (group 5108) and the specialty “Pediatrics” (group 3431), under the guidance of assistants from the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology, Arinkyzy Zhuldyz and Akhmetkaliyeva Sh.B., went on an educational excursion to the Abai Kunanbayuly Museum to gain a deeper understanding of his life and work.

The Abai Literary and Memorial Museum is a unique cultural site preserving the creative heritage of the great poet. During the excursion, students explored the museum exhibits, including Abai’s personal belongings, his literary works, and historical artifacts from his time. The excursion leaders shared fascinating information about Abai’s life and creativity, as well as his contribution to the spiritual development of Kazakh society.

The purpose of this trip was to strengthen students’ respect for Abai’s legacy and introduce them to his philosophical ideas.

At the end of the excursion, the students took memorable photographеs and shared their impressions. They noted that this trip enriched them spiritually and enhanced their interest in Kazakh literature and culture.

This educational excursion provided students with an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the profound legacy of the great Abai and broaden their spiritual horizons.
