On December 6, 2024, the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases held an olympiad on the topic of “Cardio-Respiratory System Pathology” at City Hospital No. 1. Thirty-five third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine actively participated. The participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including inspection of the chest, palpation of the chest, percussion of the chest, auscultation of the lungs, inspection of the heart and major vessels, palpation of the heart area, percussion of heart borders, and auscultation of the heart.

The winners of the olympiad were:

1st place – Karpacheva Adeliya,

2nd place – Kabieva Dayana, Zagambekova Laila,

3rd place – Zhumakenova Daiana, Bakbergenov Azamat.

The olympiad was conducted under the guidance of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases staff members, Associate Professors Zhazyqbaeva L.K. and Tokabaeva A.K. The jury highly praised the students’ level of preparation and professional skills. All other participants received certificates acknowledging their active participation and dedication to professional development.
