On December 3, 2024, students from groups 1215 and 1216, specializing in “Medicine,” along with their curators Alina G.M. and Beleyuhanova K.M., visited the Children’s and Youth Library in Semey. The students participated in an event on the topic: “The Disease of the Century,” organized by library staff member Musatova Zh.M. Epidemiologist from the Regional Center for HIV Prevention Dyusembaeva A.S. held a discussion with the students about HIV prevention, explaining what HIV is, its symptoms, the difference between HIV infection and AIDS, how HIV infection is transmitted, and why it is important to know if someone has HIV.

The event also featured participation from therapist Asylkhanova B.T. and psychologist Balagazinova A.A. from the Youth Health Center “Zhas Asyl.”
