10.12.2024  in lecture hall No. 1 for students of all educational programs, a meeting was held with a representative of the Semey Prosecutor’s Office for the prevention of drug crime and human rights violations among students.

The purpose is to inform about the responsibility for drug trafficking and the dangers of drug abuse, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle and responsible attitude to health.

Torebek Alisherovich Kumushbayev, Prosecutor of the Semey Prosecutor’s Office, spoke at the meeting. During the meeting, issues of the negative consequences of drug use, countering drug crime, as well as behavioral risk factors and drug addiction prevention were discussed.

The students also watched Rinat Balgabayev’s documentary “Закладка”. Following the results of the viewing, the students learned about the terms of punishment for drug crime, namely that the minimum term for this category of offense is 10 years and above.
