On 9 December 2024, on the initiative of the Department of General Education Disciplines and the student club ‘Sanaly Urpak’, a round table for students was organised within the framework of the project ‘Honest Man’ in honour of the International Anti-Corruption Day. The main purpose of the event was to foster intolerance to corruption among young people, explain the importance of academic honesty and promote anti-corruption policies.
The fight against corruption is important for students because fairness in the process of education and labour directly affects the future of students. During the event, an entertaining game was organised for students. The aim of the game was to increase students’ interest in proverbs and sayings, to explain the essence of the concepts of fairness and reasonableness through proverbs, as well as to develop the skills of teamwork and fair decision-making.
After completing the task, all groups were given the opportunity to evaluate their results, and the team with the highest score was declared the winner.
