On December 15, 2024, on the eve of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day, B.B.Orazayeva, a teacher of Public Health Department, together with the 429th foreign student group, visited the State Historical-Cultural and Literary-Memorial Museum of Abay. The tour of the main museum complex was an engaging journey into the life and creative legacy of the great Kazakh poet, philosopher, and educator Abay Kunanbaiuly.
The students explored unique exhibitions that reflected key stages of the poet’s life — from childhood to his mature creative period. Particularly impressive were the halls «Abay’s Creativity», «Words of Edification», and «Abay’s Poetic School», which showcased rare archival materials, Abay’s personal belongings, and his literary works.
The guides provided detailed explanations of Abay’s role in the development of Kazakh written literature, his philosophical ideas, and musical heritage. The students showed great interest, asked questions, and shared their thoughts on the significance of Abay’s legacy for contemporary culture. Visiting the museum became an important event, allowing the students to gain a deeper understanding of Kazakhstan’s cultural and historical heritage while enriching their spiritual outlook.
