On 17.12.2024, a curatorial hour was held with students of the 3526th group in honor of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan. The historical context of the event was discussed: on December 16, 1991, Kazakhstan became an independent state. The adoption of the Act of Independence meant the beginning of a new stage for our country — the restoration of national statehood, the preservation of cultural and linguistic traditions, as well as the development of its own economy and political system. The students showed their knowledge of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan: the flag, coat of arms and anthem represent freedom, peace and unity of the people of Kazakhstan. The blue color on the flag symbolizes a peaceful sky, the golden eagle — freedom and striving for heights, and the sun — a bright future. Since gaining independence, Kazakhstan has become a successful and developing country that actively cooperates with the international community, develops its own economy, culture, education and healthcare. The students came to the conclusion that Independence Day is not just a holiday, it is a day of pride for our country, it is a day when we honor those who stood at the origins of independence, those who made efforts to develop and strengthen our Homeland.
