On December 18. 2024. a regular meeting of the Clinical Committee was held, focusing on current issues in primary healthcare (PHC), particularly on monitoring disease prevalence.

The meeting was attended by chief physicians of clinics from the Abay region and the city of Semey, as well as heads of PHC departments from medical institutions. Regional hospitals of the Abay region also joined the meeting via the ZOOM platform.
The importance of PHC as a cornerstone of the healthcare system was emphasized. PHC ensures the accessibility and quality of medical services for the population. One of its key priorities remains the prevention of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and others. Efforts are focused on early diagnosis and promoting healthy lifestyles.
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss strategies for improving the efficiency of the PHC system. Participants worked to develop practical solutions and recommendations to enhance PHC services, strengthen public health, and ensure the sustainable development of the healthcare system.
All attendees actively contributed to the discussions, both in-person and online, with comprehensive answers provided to all questions raised.
The meeting was concluded by N.B. Omarov, Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs at NCJSC“SMU” who expressed gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and constructive proposals.
