The significance of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On December 22, 2024, students of group 5411 GM, under the guidance of the Head of the Department of General Medical Practice A.A. Dyusupova and the tutor of the group  Ph.D. of medical sciences S.M. Adilgozhina, held a round table dedicated to the celebration of one of Kazakhstan’s most significant national holidays – Independence Day. The round table was organized with the aim of deepening students’ knowledge about the significance of Independence Day, strengthening their patriotic spirit, and fostering respect for their country’s history and culture. During the event, key historical events leading up to Kazakhstan’s independence were discussed. The following topics were addressed: the significance of December 16, 1991 – the day when Kazakhstan officially declared its independence; the country’s major achievements during the years of independence in the fields of economy, culture, and politics; The role and contribution of youth in the development of modern Kazakhstan. Curator Saltanat Muratbekovna emphasized the importance of preserving national traditions, unity, and solidarity among the people of Kazakhstan. The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Students actively participated in discussions, asked questions, and shared their thoughts on the importance of independence for every citizen. During the round table, video materials and presentations illustrating the historical moments of Kazakhstan’s independence were shown.
