The Department of Internal Diseases Pedagogics thanks students of 3 years of foreign branch for participation in winter school «Spirography: norm and peculiarities in respiratory diseases», which took place from 13 to 17 January 2025 on platform MOOC. The Winter School was organized with the aim of in-depth study of spirography as an important method of diagnosis of diseases of the respiratory organs. During the school, students had the opportunity to master theoretical foundations of spirography, learn how to interpret the results of spirograms and apply the knowledge gained for the diagnosis of various respiratory diseases.

The winter school program included:

• Lectures on the theoretical foundations of spirography and its role in the diagnosis of respiratory diseases
• Master classes on the analysis of spirograms and evaluation of external respiration function
• Group discussion of clinical cases and the specifics of interpretation of the data of the spirography

All the classes were held in an online format, which allowed students to effectively assimilate materials and discuss practical examples in a convenient environment. At the end of each block, participants passed tests on the MOOC platform to assess their knowledge and skills. After the winter school, all participants were given certificates confirming their participation and acquisition of key skills in the field of diagnosis of respiratory diseases by means of spirography. We thank all students for their active participation in the winter school and hope that the knowledge gained will be useful in further training and your professional activities.
