A Journey into the World of Art: Visit to the Nevzorov Family Museum of Fine Arts

As part of the educational activities, on February 2, 2025, senior lecturer of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, PhD Mukasheva Gulbarshyn Darynkyzy, together with the 3337 tutorial group of the General Medicine program, visited the Nevzorov Family Museum of Fine Arts.

The museum boasts a rich collection of unique works of art. Visitors can admire paintings by renowned artists such as I. Shishkin, F. Vasiliev, A. Kuindzhi, A. Kiselev, I. Levitan, K. Korovin, V. Orlovsky, I. Ostroukhov, S. Zhukovsky, S. Shchedrin, M. Ivanov, A. Venetsianov, and K. Bryullov. A particular highlight of the collection is an original Rembrandt engraving from 1633. In addition to classical paintings, the museum features works by Kazakhstani artists, including A. Kasteev, S. Kalmykov, L. Leontyev, A. Galimbaev, and others. Students were especially intrigued by the works of our fellow countryman, journalist, and artist Ruslan Shakabayev.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to explore global and national masterpieces, fostering their aesthetic appreciation and artistic perception. After the museum tour, students shared their impressions and emphasized the importance of such events in their educational journey.
