Since 2025, admission to the Semey Medical University, NCJSC will begin under the pilot program of the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine for the training of doctors according to a hybrid international model system corresponding to British and North American curricula and medical qualifications. As part of the implementation of the tasks of the pilot program of the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, the employees of the Admissions Committee and the Medical Foundation, together with the involvement of the teaching staff of Semey Medical University, NCJSC carried out career guidance work for school graduates of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, “Multidisciplinary Gymnasium No. 5 named after Shakarim”,  “Gymnasium No. 37 named after Ybyray Altynsarin”,”Regional specialized lyceum “BILIM-INNOVATION” for gifted children of the city of Semey. During the meetings, future applicants asked questions about the combined program, about the deadlines for submitting documents, about educational programs, etc.
