On 08.02.2025, according to the schedule of Saturday events, a master class on the topic: “Memory: Types and mechanisms. Techniques for improving and training memory” was held in the student house #2 at 5a Sechenov St. The event was organized by assistant of the department of neurology, ophthalmology and otolaryngology N.A. Filippova.
Students of all levels participated in the master class. A mini-lecture were given to the students on anatomical and physiological features of memory, as well as methods and life hacks for better memorization The students were introduced to such memorization techniques as the “Memory Palace”, the Pomodoro method, multimodal learning, memorization through teaching a friend and others.
At the end of the master class, the participants played the game “Ward #6”, which was helped to train memory and apply the acquired knowledge in practice. As part of the game, students were asked to remember the data of 6 patients, and after a short break, answer the questions of a quiz based on this data. All participants of the master class actively participated in the discussion, asked questions. We hope that the gained knowledge will help students achieve even greater success in their studies!
