On January 30, 2025, the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics hosted another meeting of the scientific club, dedicated to students’ research work. The session was led by Senior Lecturer of the Department, PhD Gulbarshyn Darynkysy Mukasheva.
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss students’ scientific research, explore new methods for addressing current medical issues, and share research findings. Members of the club presented their studies.
Student presentations covered the prevalence of chronic diseases, the role of biostatistical methods in diagnostics, and innovations in healthcare. Each study was reviewed and discussed based on scientifically grounded data.
During the discussion, participants exchanged ideas and considered ways to improve research methodologies. In the next meeting, students will continue refining their work and preparing their findings for presentation at scientific conferences.
