Ensuring a healthy life and promoting well-being at any age is one of the key factors of sustainable development. Improving the prevention and treatment of addiction to psychoactive substances, including drug and alcohol abuse, are priority areas in promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being. On February 18, the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after prof. N.A. Khlopov organized a curatorial hour on the topic “Narcotic opium addiction” for students of supervised groups (2232 Pediatrics, 2104, 2216, 1222, 1223, 2507 Medicine). The causes, signs, mechanism of action, stages of drug opium addiction and its consequences were covered. Particular attention was paid to the signs of an overdose, issues of prevention and treatment of opium addiction.
