On February 17, 2025, teachers of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.M.Urazalin held curatorial hours with the curatorial group: Malik M.M. – 2109, Razakova N.G. – 2107, Maratova A.S. – 1218, 1235 Pediatrics, Ortbayeva F.N. – 1220 on the topic “Current issues of addictive medicine. Ludomania”.

During the event, the causes and consequences of gambling addiction, its impact on mental and physical health, as well as prevention methods and possible solutions to the problem were discussed. The students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and shared their thoughts on the topic.

The curatorial hour allowed the students to better understand the importance of the problem of ludomania and its impact on society, and also emphasized the role of medical professionals in the detection and prevention of this disorder.
