On February 8, 2025, students of group 2214, studying Medicine at Semipalatinsk Medical University, were in Astana among the volunteers of the New People organization and took part in a discussion of the organization’s future plans. During the current visit, the students met with the President of our country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, where the students exchanged views on student volunteer activities. This trip and especially the meeting with the President left an indelible impression and an instructive unique experience.
During the trip, we also had the opportunity to establish close contacts with other members of the organization representing different regions of our homeland and share our volunteer work experience. Discussions were held on various topics and new ways of helping the population were considered. This trip gave us great motivation and inspired us to work actively in the future.
