In modern society, gambling addiction, or gambling addiction, is increasingly becoming a problem for young people. Gambling or bookmaker bets attract students with promises of quick money and easy success. However, in practice, excitement develops into addiction, which leads to financial collapse, deterioration of studies and destruction of social ties.

In order to prevent and raise awareness among young people about current issues of gambling addiction, on February 20, 2025, at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O., under the supervision of curator Murtazina D.D., a conversation dedicated to this topic was held among students of 301, 302 curatorial groups of the specialty “Pharmacy”.

Informing, psychological support and involvement in useful activities help to form a responsible attitude to their lives and financial future in young people. Only a comprehensive approach, including the participation of the state, educational institutions and families, will reduce the spread of gambling addiction and protect young people from this dangerous addiction.
