Since 2016, Kazakhstan has celebrated the official and annual holiday – Gratitude Day – on March 1st. This day is a symbol of deep respect for the sacred Kazakh land and the hospitable Kazakh people, who have become a welcoming home for millions of representatives of various ethnic groups that, by fate’s will, resettled in Kazakhstan.
Every year, faculty members and students of our department visit longevity centers with a concert program, bringing joy and inspiration to both participants and the audience. These meetings fill us with energy and gratitude, strengthening the bond between generations and creating an atmosphere of mutual support. Our performances contribute to emotional uplift and active longevity, as confirmed by the feedback from the center’s visitors.
This year, on February 24, faculty members and students of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies, under the initiative of the Head of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor D.A. Mukanova, performed a concert program at the “Center for Special Social Services and Active Longevity No. 3 in the city of Semey” as part of the volunteer work “Gratitude is my duty!”. We are proud to contribute to the lives of the older generation and look forward to new meetings.
