Within the framework of the school of clinicians at Viamedis Pavlodar LLP on 02/5/2025, under the guidance of an academic mentor, PhD, associate professor Adilgozhina S.M., an analysis was conducted among doctors and secondary medical staff on the topic: “Preeclampsia in pregnant women”. Preeclampsia is a polysystemic syndrome in pregnant women, which is usually manifested by an increase in blood pressure and proteinuria. In mild form, this complication of pregnancy occurs in 3% of women and most often does not have a serious impact on the health of the child and mother. Severe preeclampsia occurs in 1-2% of pregnant women. This primarily affects the kidneys, liver, blood clotting system and brain, as well as the placenta. A severe form of preeclampsia can cause serious health problems for the mother and child and even lead to death. In developed countries, eclampsia occurs in 1 case per 2000 pregnancies (34), in developing countries it occurs with a frequency from 1/100 to 1/1700 births. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, gestosis occurs in 15-27% of pregnant women (1). At the same time, eclampsia remains one of the main causes of maternal mortality in the world (10-15%). Pregnant women and women in labor with signs of severe preeclampsia should be admitted to the PIT or the maternity unit of a level III (3a) hospital, if not possible, to the nearest level II hospital. an ambulance with a specialized team (intensive care unit) after stabilization of the condition on the spot.
