“FIRST AID IN MILITARY FIELD SURGERY”

At the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Semey Medical University, specializing in General Medicine in Ground Forces, a special practical lesson on the topic of First Aid in Military Field Surgery was held in the disciplines of Military Field Surgery of the troops in order to acquire first aid skills among students of group 4114 of the Faculty of General Medicine and 4303 of Pediatrics, teacher MD. PhD acting associate professor Auyenov Medet Auyenuly.

This event became a very important experience for the students of the military department, as each future specialist is aware of his responsibility and acquires skills for effective response in an emergency.

Students of the military department worked out the principles of first aid to victims at the shooting range and on the battlefield, learned how to effectively respond to various injuries. During the practice, students of the department demonstrated the assessment and temporary stopping of the level of external bleeding, the importance of applying splints for arm and leg fractures, and desmurgy methods. The skills of making the right decisions and taking the right actions in military field conditions, when time and conditions are limited, were worked out and mastered.

Working in a team during classes, students learned to provide first aid to each other while coordinating their actions and successfully increasing their professional responsibility. Thus, providing first aid in military field surgery is consolidated not only based on theory but also in practice.

At the end of the training, the head of the department of hospital surgery, anesthesiology and resuscitation, MD, professor Aimagambetov Meirbek Zhaksybekovich, and the head of the military department of the SMU, NCJSC, colonel of the medical service Orynbasarov Shyngys Orazmukhametovich thanked the students of the group and the teacher Auyenov Medet Auyenuly for the worthy conduct of the event.
