On February 26. 2025 a round table discussion on “Reproductive Health and Family Planning” was held for students of the “General Medicine” program from groups 5108, 5230, 5234, 5133, 5229, and 3338, as well as for students of the “Pediatrics” program from group 3431. The event was organized under the guidance of the assistants of the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology: Аrınqyzy Zh., Kirillvoy E.V., Akhmetkaliyeva Sh.B., Filippova N.A., and Kulabukhova N.S.
Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being in all matters relating to the reproductive system.
The main goal of organizing this round table was to discuss current issues in reproductive health, modern family planning methods, and to enhance students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
During the event, the following key topics were addressed: Current Issues in Reproductive Health: maintaining reproductive system health, disease prevention, and modern approaches to diagnosis.Family Planning Methods: contemporary contraceptive methods, their effectiveness and application features, as well as timely preparation for pregnancy.
Reproductive health and family planning are fundamental aspects of a healthy and fulfilling life. A conscious approach to these issues helps prevent unwanted consequences, promotes well-being, and ensures a stable and happy future for every family member. Regular medical check-ups, timely consultations, and access to up-to-date information are essential for successful planning and maintaining reproductive health.
The round table became an important stage in the educational process, allowing students to expand their knowledge and acquire practical skills necessary for their future professional activities.
