“Volunteer movement among students: its influence on the training of future doctors”

Teachers of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Kapanova G.K. (15.02.2025) and Selgazina M.B. (01.03.2025) together with students of the supervisory groups (4307 GMF and 4408 GMF) – visited the Hospice of the city of Semey, where they provided volunteer assistance. Students helped medical staff in feeding seriously ill patients, distributed medications, measured blood pressure, assisted patients during hygiene procedures, and assisted staff in sanitizing wards.

This type of educational work among young people develops their ability to empathize, as well as hard work, increased interest in medicine, and broadens their horizons about the true values of life.
