The teacher of the Department of General Education Disciplines, Tokabayeva G.K., together with students from medical groups 1105 and 1106, went on an excursion to the Nevzorov Family Museum of Fine Arts in Semey.
During the excursion, the students were welcomed by a museum staff member who introduced them to the history of the museum. The Nevzorov Museum is one of the largest fine arts museums in Kazakhstan, featuring collections of Kazakh, Russian, Western European, and Eastern art.
While touring the museum halls, the students became acquainted with the following artworks:
Works of Kazakh fine art masters: “Turksib” and “Collective Farm Celebration” by Abylkhan Kasteyev, “Atameken” by Kanapiya Telzhanov.
Russian realistic art: Paintings by renowned artists such as Ilya Repin, Vasily Surikov, and Ivan Aivazovsky.
Western European painting: An exhibition featuring works by Italian, French, Dutch, and German painters from the 17th-19th centuries.
Graphic works and sculptures: In addition to paintings, the museum also showcases works by famous Kazakh and foreign sculptors and graphic artists.
The museum staff provided insights into the cultural and historical significance of each painting and sculpture, broadening the students’ appreciation for art. The excursion left a lasting and educational impression on the students.
