March 03, 2025, in group 4303 in the specialty “Pediatrics” there was a curated hour on the topic “Ludomania and opium addiction.” The curator of the event was the assistant of the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases Koishybaeva K.Zh.
The purpose of the curator’s hour:
-raising awareness among students about two serious addictions that can negatively affect a person’s health and life.
Main tasks:
- Explanation of the concept of gambling addiction and opium addiction
- Covering the consequences of these dependencies
- Prevention and ways to help
- Development of critical thinking skills
- Creating a healthy social environment
Students actively participated in discussions, shared opinions and asked questions, which contributed to better understanding of the material.
