Men and women aged 30-70 years are screened for early detection of arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, oncopathology, women aged 30-70 years who are not registered for cervical cancer, polyposis, colon cancer.
On March 4, 2025, students of the 3526 group «Medicine» together with the curator Zhazykbaeva L.K. participated in the screening in the pre-medical office of the polyclinic «Hakim». One of the types of screening in the Republic of Kazakhstan is examinations of the adult population aimed at early detection and prevention of diabetes mellitus. For this purpose, men and women between the ages of 40 and 70 are checked in the pre-medical office. The blood glucose level is determined by the PAP test, body weight and waist size are measured. If the glucose level is above 6.0 mmol / l, they are sent for further in-depth examination by a local doctor, blood is donated for glycated hemoglobin, followed by consultation with an endocrinologist. Students were able to gain practical skills through screening.
