On February 27, 2025, the “Urology” department of the Department of Surgical Disciplines held an “Open Door Day for Interns of SMU, NCJSC.” The event provided a great opportunity for future specialists to get acquainted with the department’s work, the residency training program, and to interact with residents specializing in ” Urology and Andrology.” After the introductory discussion, a presentation about the department and its scientific achievements was given, followed by a discussion on career and specialization opportunities in urology. A tour of the urology department of the Semey City Hospital (BSMP) was conducted. Participants had the chance to ask questions, interact with experienced specialists, and receive useful information for building their careers in urology.
